Sustainable Style

The sustainable style project sought to explore alternative ways of accessing fashion in an environmentally friendly yet affordable way. The project was a response to the rise of sustainable fashion brands selling items which were created with high quality, sustainable material, resulting in an inaccessible high price for many young but sustainably minded consumers. The result of the project was a series of styled photographs created with secondhand sourced garments and props. The concepts for the two fashion styling shoots were based around self- expression and current emerging trends in order to remain relevant for the genZ market. All garments and props featured in the shoot were sourced from local second-hand charity shops subsequently, supporting local charities and fashion through sustainable channels.
