Sustainably Minded Maker

Hailing from Somerset and residing in Birmingham, I am a Textile Design Graduate from Birmingham City University. I am fuelled by creating and researching alternative solutions to fast fashion. In the past, I have worked with a focus on up-cycling and promoting the value of second-hand clothing. Currently, I am focusing on new material innovations in the world of biomaterials, seeking ways to intertwine my knowledge of textile processes with a new understanding and interest in bio-design. I champion the concept and practical implementation of collaboration and enjoy sharing new findings of this emerging sector with others. Through my work, I hope to help raise awareness surrounding the environmental issues in my industry and contribute to a sustainable future for fashion and textiles
